Jake Mechin

Jake is a California native who returned to Los Angeles after attending college in New York and majoring in business and Romance languages at New York University. Jake’s experience in real estate began at a New York brokerage, where he managed listings in New York, Paris, and London. After working for many years as an educational consultant, where he developed a client-oriented mindset, Jake returned to Los Angeles where he applies the attention to detail, discretion, and professionalism that he mastered in New York to the LA real estate industry. He has stayed in touch with the clients he guided from middle school into college and has built lasting friendships with the families he works with. As a Realtor, Jake prioritizes his clients and addresses their individual needs. He understands that the process of buying or selling a home can be a daunting one, so he guides clients through each step of the process, remaining dedicated to making their dreams come true. At Del Rey Urban, the in-house design services, general counsel, and vendor relationships mean that whether you’re buying or selling, Jake can support you through the entire process. Jake’s cat, Stinky, plays fetch, gives hi-fives, and ignores toys in favor of balled up paper towels. Jake loves plants and tends to his balcony garden when he isn’t working with clients.
